Jantastic…Get Some Motivation

Believe it or not (I don’t) but another year has whizzed by and 2015 is looming large on the horizon.  And that can only mean one thing.  It’s Jantastic time.  Jantastic is a great motivator for getting you in to your running kit and out the door on those cold, dark nights in the new year – and it’s for everyone, whether you’re a complete beginner or super fast elite runner.  It’s especially good for anyone targeting a Spring race, whether it’s your first 5k or a marathon pb attempt.

Jantastic is run by the guys at Marathon Talk and involves participants setting themselves running targets for January, February and March.  January is all about setting a target number of runs per week you’re going to do.  All you nee to do is register on the Fantastic website, set your target and most important of all join our team – Knowle and Porridge Running Club.  By joining the team you’ll be able to see what your club mates are doing and whether they are hitting their targets (and you can use this information in any way you see fit!).
