K&D in the Community: Knowle Library Health Week Advice & Beginners Sessions (02/03/17)

Knowle & Dorridge Running Club will be at Knowle Library 10am-5pm on Thu 2nd March 2017 as part of Knowle Health Week 2017.

Members of the club will be there to meet the local community, answer questions, offer advice, provide info on events, parkrun, how to train for an event, how to prepare for the Knowle Fun Run etc. all day.

There will also be two FREE beginner run sessions for people interested in learning the basics of how to start running safely to improve your health and wellbeing. The two small group sessions, of no more than 10 people will be for adult beginners.

The session will be taken by an experienced run leader. The free sessions will be at 11am and 2pm.

Any beginners interested in one of the run sessions can register here: http://knowleanddorridgerunningclub.org.uk/knowlehealthweek/ or by chatting to the staff at Knowle Library.

For anybody else you can come and meet your local running club, ask all sorts of questions and find out why 300 of your local friends and colleagues run around the streets of Knowle and Dorridge in the middle of winter for fun! (Hint: It’s the wonderful club mates not the weather!)
