K&D RC Appoint Hannah England, World Championship Silver Medallist, as Director of Running


Knowle & Dorridge Running Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Hannah England as Director of Running.

Hannah England won a silver medal in the 2011 Daegu World Championships 1500m. Ranked 15th All-Time in the UK over 1500m Hannah brings an incredible wealth of experience and knowledge to the ever-growing Knowle & Dorridge RC. Overseeing our Run Leaders Hannah, mentored by Luke Gunn (Head of Athletics, Birmingham University) and iconic British endurance coach Bud Baldaro, will be teaming up with K&D RC in an exciting and innovative partnership. This partnership will help pass on Hannah’s knowledge and expertise to an ever improving squad of all abilities.

Our club caters to all abilities while being increasingly competitive nationally. Having Hannah on board as consultant will help athletes achieve their goals whatever they may be and drive the club forward; we want to be a leading deliverer of peak performance and improved health and well-being in the local community through a sport we love”.  

Hannah takes up her role in mid-September and her first task will be helping direct K&D’s cross country season.
