Midland Road Relays 2014

Last Saturday we took 2 mens and 2 ladies teams to the Midland Road Relays in Sutton Park and saw some stunning performances.

Our ladies A team finished 39th and B team 60th (out of 79). There were 2 stand out performances, one from the ever improving Flick Sharp and the other a return to racing from Monica Green after a long injury lay off.

Our mens team A team finished in 24th and B team in 60th (out of 80) with the A Team securing qualification to the National Championships in 2 weeks time. Sadly, however, the team will be somewhat depleted due to Chris Morgan’s refusal to re-arrange his wedding day (no, we don’t understand it either)!
