Home of the first 4-minute mile

The Annual Teddy Hall Relays take place at the famous Iffley Road Track, Oxford on the afternoon of Wednesday 11th March. The event is a relay of 4 x 3.5 mile legs 3 x 3.5 for Womens teams) which each start and finish at the famous track and take in a lovely stretch alongside the river, through the grounds of Corpus Christi college and a short meander through the bewildered Japanese tourists before heading back onto the track to hand-over the baton to the next leg. Teams of 4 for Mens and Mixed teams, teams of 3 for Womens teams. All abilities can take part and it would be great to send more than one team to the event this year, and especially to get a Ladies team out. Centurions are taking 3 or 4 teams, it would be nice to match them! If all that wasn’t enough, after the event everyone is treated to a buffet at St Edmunds Hall to round off the day and dish out the prizes.Anyone interested who can make a Wednesday afternooon please email Max at max79@blueyonder.co.uk.
