Club Social Run & Breakfast
Sunday morning saw a great turnout for our first summer “Sunday social” run. A group of around 20 met at the Punchbowl, split into pace groups for a run around the local area, meeting back at the Punchbowl for a hearty breakfast! Thanks to Katie Price for organising, and watch out for announcements for future social Sunday runs later in the summer!
Wrexham 10k
Just one race to report on this week: well done to Chris Revell for completing the Wrexham 10k in 38:28 – no placings/official results available at the time of going to press, so will update subsequently
Parkrun roundup
A bit cooler than last week’s sweltering conditions, and the start of the summer holiday saw a few more tourist parkruns added to the usual Saturday morning locations. Well done to Anthony Dutton for his new PB at Cannock Chase, and to George de Bolla, Gareth Wainwright, Juliet Jones and Monica Green for their top 3 overall/top lady placings at Brueton.
