Midlands Road Relays

Ladies Race

It was a fab day out for the ladies at the relays. Changeable weather including wind, rain, hail and bright sunshine adding more excitement to the rolling hills on the course. Most of the team – Jess Woolley, Amanda O’Leary,  Mishola Kirkham, Hannah Donelan, Lucy Chapman and Kerry Thompson – found they were racing alone as field was quickly strung out which showed excellent determination from everyone, with the team finishing an excellent 23rd overall.

Special thanks to Kerry for stepping in last minute to cover Camille who was unable to race due to illness and to Emma Donnelly for waiting in the wings in case anyone else couldn’t make it on the day. We’re hoping to get a team out for the national road race relays on 6th April. Please get in contact with Jess Woolley or Katie Price if you’d like to run
