Weekend Recap: Centurions 2 – Centurion Harder & parkrun roundup

Centurions GP #2:

Results still to be confirmed due to Centurions results gopher being away yesterday. Once located and results are uploaded expect a post.

Brueton parkrun:

With cross country leaving much of K&D non-parkrunning it was left to Paul Bentley to take his moment in the spotlight. His first K&D parkrun first since joining the club recently Paul ran 18:57. He was followed by Edward Long in 19:46 and the returning to form Anthony Dutton in 19:49.

Monica Green took first place for our women in 21:16 – leaving her competitors green in envy. Bdum-tsh! In a close contest Mary Heald and Louise Bell ran 23:03 and 23:15 for second and third K&D.

Alina Awdry took her PB down to 25:24. A big congrats on your new best Alina.

Coventry parkrun:

Ian Maidment ran 26:31 to ring in December at Coventry.

Cannon Hill parkrun:

Big Dave Carbutt made use of the wide open space of Cannon Hill to stretch his legs and show us what he’s got… (oooh, matron) in 19:06.

Penallta parkrun:

Steve Marks returned to the homeland to run what we hope isn’t his Penallta-mate parkrun in 31:28.

Bideford parkrun:

Now his regular jaunt Peter Harvey clocked 28:08 at Bideford.
