Weekend Recap: Red, Whitehead and Blue

European Triathlon Age Group Champs: Congratulations to Linda Whitehead who emerged from Denmark as European Age Group Triathlon Champion in her Age Group. Keith took bronze as they both enjoyed beautiful Denmark while representing GB as age group athletes.

It wouldn’t be a Whitehead outing without trying the medical facilities and our Linda did her best to chat up the handsome Danish Dr’s while they treated her for cuts and grazes.

Keith and Linda proudly donned their GBR Tri-suits as they took on European opposition and everyone at K&D would like to pass on our congratulations.

Market Drayton 10k:
Famous for it’s Gingerbread Men, Market Drayton 10k was a 2,500+ sell out again. The two John’s (Randall and Garside) repped the K&D Massive. Johnny R ran 39:08 and Johnny G clocked a pre-Birthday 45:29

Lichfield Half:

Brueton parkrun:
A perculiar day at parkrun as decent conditions were juxtaposed by unusually slowish-times for the front runners. Some day’s just aren’t quick for whatever reason.

Flick Sharp eased herself back into post-marathon quick stuff with a 20:38, while Siobhan Cotter and Jane Hunt battled it out to a 22:47 and 23:03.

Congratulations to Emily King on her 25 volunteer milestone.
