WRRL – BRAT 5k Results
Last week we had a great turn out for the Brat 5km WRRL race. It was a lovely evening and a good race – but I wish I had been warned it was more uphill than down! There were 4 men and 3 women with results in the top 3 for their age category:
Chris Morgan MSen 17:31 overall place 24 (age category 3)
Richard Dixon MV50 18:30 17 (2)
Ian Voaden MV55 20:08 95 (3)
Keith Whitehead MV60 23:24 157 (2)
Lorraine Hobbs LV45 21:14 131 (2)
Kathy Bailey LV50 23:07 154 (3)
Jane Hunt LV55 23:20 156 (3)
The WRRL website hasn’t yet been updated with these results, but all teams are doing really well with the Mens team in second place, ladies third. The mens veterans are also second and ladies veterans third. There’s 3 more races to go, so lets keep pushing on those results!
24th August Godiva 5 mile
4th September Kenilworth Half Marathon
2nd October Rugby 10 miles
