Very quiet week on the race front with no races to report on, so just the parkrun roundup – and what a week it was at Brueton, seeing the legendary Margaret Smith celebrate her 90th birthday by running her 450th parkrun. For those of you who don’t know Margaret, she only started running when she was 70, running her first London marathon at 72, and is a well-known figure to both the running and wider local community, and an inspiration to us all!

A massive 76 K&D runners were parkrunning this Saturday, with 54 of you at Brueton! Some great performances there, seeing Gareth Wainwright and Matt Hipwell take 1st and 2nd overall, with PBs for Michelle Hampton, Alice Longe and Matthew Cooke. Well done also to Ladies Captain Jess Woolley for 1st lady at Prospect parkrun and to Caroline Park for 1st Lady at Severn Valley. Full results in the table below
