As some of you may be aware our very own Stephen Ray has recently taken up cycling again to add to his super quick running and has now been persuaded to take part in an epic ride of some 286km (That’s 178 miles in old money) over 3 days in September and all for a great cause. Here’s what Stephen had to say about the challenge.
“At the start of lockdown I was unable to run due to injury so dug an old mountain bike out of the garage having not cycled for many, many years!
At the end of June I succumbed and invested in a road bike – 4 weeks on I have been persuaded to do a 286km coast to coast cycle ride (Morecambe to Bridlington) across 3 days for charity in mid September.
My longest ride so far is 55 miles so a bit more training required!

I knew Cameron personally and the funds are for a really good cause.
If you did feel the urge to donate or sponsor that would be greatly appreciated.
Fantastic stuff Stephen, good luck and best wishes from all at K&D!
