BMC Solihull – A Sharp 5000m

On an afternoon of Olympians and International class athletes at Solihull’s Norman Green Athletics Track Club legend Chris Sharp pitted himself against a group of the countries best track athletes. Chris ran 16:13 for the 5000m. Considering that parental duties of the last few months have taken priority then a 16:13 in far from ideal conditions is a great effort; especially as us road-runners don’t get many opportunities to spike up and run on the track – a whole different ball game.
