Lakeland Trails 14k, 23k and Ultra
It was a weekend for trail running that saw a group of K&D runners head north to the popular Lakeland Trails events in Ambleside. The recent weather made for tricky conditions underfoot, but thankfully everyone survived their slips and trips! Results for the various distances below:

Dodo 50km Xtreme Ultra (Mauritius)
Well done to Tim Price completing this super-challenging trail race over in Mauritius in 11 hour and 10 minutes, which he quotes as being “fixed rope ascents and descents, thick mud, rocks and tree roots everywhere. Basically jungle with 3,500m of ascent and descent lobbed in.”
Muddy 5km
Meanwhile closer to home, and in even more mud, well done to Ingrid Rochelle completing the event in 44 minutes.
