Interclub Run Results

The results from last nights Interclub Run are hereInterclub Start Inter Club Race Results v2.

Well done to all of you who came along to run and stayed to enjoy the social side of the evening afterwards.

Over 200 runners from K&D, Kenilworth, Spa Striders and Stratford took part.

Hopefully those of you that have not felt comfortable participating in “Club” or “League” races previously, will have discovered that they are not all about the fast guys and girls at the front. Club runners of all standards are welcome, and all are enthusiastically supported from first to last.

Lastly, a big thank you to everyone who volunteered, with a particular nod of gratitude to Max, Tim, Simon and Gavin who helped with the planning required to put on what ended up being a decent old show!

Call for Marshals Inter-Club Run

Opportunity to wear Hi-vis and look important….

On Wednesday 22nd July the club will host an Inter-club run where we will be joined by our friends from Stratford AC, Kenilworth Runners and Spa Striders for a 10K run and social meal based at Sils RFC. There will be lots more detail soon about this great event but as you can imagine there is a lot of organising to do beforehand to ensure the event runs smoothly.

I am putting a team of marshals together to assist on the night. You won’t be able to run in the event if you are marshalling, but you will be doing your bit for the club and as recompense you will get to wear an important looking hi-vis jacket and a free pass for the after run meal too. If your husband/wife/partner has always wanted to see what all the fuss is about but ‘can’t’ run, then I would love to have them in the team while you show off your running skills. If you or a family member can help out for what will be between 10 mins to 1 hour or so on the night please contact me (Max) at max79@blueyonder.co.uk for more information. Thanks
