There was some great running from Team K&D over the weekend.
At the Brueton Park Run Kathy Bailey ran a new 22.32 PB. The race also saw Pete Makepeace notch up his 100th Park Run. Pete contributes a good deal to the smooth running of the Brueton Park Run so finding the time to run 100 of them as well is quite an achievement!
Members were also over Stratford way on Saturday for the Autumn Shakespeare which offers a number of different distances all in one race.
Flick Sharp set a cracking new 10k PB of 48:56. In the Half Marathon, Mark Cordiner-Barton continued his recent run of improvements to smash through 2 hours and record a 1:55:34, and Chris Sharp clocked a 1:16:53 despite clocking up 13.32 miles on his Garmin!
The weekend also saw the first outing in Green & Gold for Jane Evans who has recently joined our ranks. Many of you will know Jane from seeing her charge around Brueton Park Run and her 35:06 PB at the Leeds Abbey Dash 10k was not a bad way to mark her maiden run in a K&D vest!
