Membership Renewal – Don’t Risk WRRL Results Not Counting

Numbers are creeping up but there are still a significant number of runners who haven’t paid their subs for 2018-19 yet. If you have any questions please email the club on kdrunningclub@gmail.com.

Your membership ensures your Warwickshire Road Race League results are counted. If you don’t renew you run the risk of your results being null and void later in the season. Also, you’ll lose discounted race entries. It is very important renewals are done pronto if you’re planning in joining in our summer running fun…

We purposely keep the membership as low as possible to ensure as small a financial ask on our members as possible. Your £35 membership pays your England Athletics Affiliation (£15) and leaves £20 for the club to secure its future, pay for coaching, run leaders, social events, awards, League participation, hall hire etc. etc.

Club Membership is Now Overdue – Renewal Time

Last Year K&D had 243 registered athletes.

So far 121 of you have renewed for 2018/19

I’ve either made enough bad jokes to scare 122 of you off… or you’re going to end up on Ann’s naughty list. Don’t make her wax her spanking paddle…(Unless that’s why you haven’t renewed yet?)

If you want to keep Chairman Darren employed by England Athletics (most important), get your £2+ race discount, enjoy one of the half dozen free race opportunities, get your Helix Sports, B’ham Runniner (Real Buzz) and New Balance discounts and enjoy nights like our evening with Dame Kelly… then you’ll need to renew your subs:

We’re pretty chillax as the kids say. We don’t check you’re a member at the door, or stop people training who haven’t paid their subs. But we do trust you’ll spare £35 for a whole year’s K&D fun.

If you have any issues paying, and we all do at some point, please feel free to email the club who will treat any issues with complete confidence and offer our support.

If you don’t want to renew you’ll need to resign (an old athletics rule from about 1726). Email the club and we’ll pass it on to Ann. We fully appreciate people’s lives, priorities and commitments change so its no biggie and we’ll always think of you as K&D at heart!

Ready for the 2017/18 Season? 90 Already Signed Up, Are You In?

88 of your club-mates have already signed up and are ready to go in 2017/18. Are you up for another season of road racing, club nights, trail running and cross country chaos?

It’s that time of the year again where membership renewal is needed.

If you wish to train with Knowle & Dorridge RC, compete for the club and maintain your England Athletics registration (including discounted race entry fees) you must renew your club membership. 

To ease the burden on membership secretary Ann please do this ASAP. Ideally as close to April 1st as possible. 

The cost is £35 payable by bank transfer.

Thank you to those who have signed up already. Ann is primed and ready to renew your memberships with England Athletics from 1st April.

Remember: You CANNOT race in club colours etc. without being a club member in line with the club’s constitution rules.

Your membership helps keep club nights free and led by qualified leaders.
